shock recomendation
i'm looking to get a new set of shocks for my 69 f100 2wd, and i was wondering if you guys had any recomendations for replacements. i know most autoparts stores have replacements, but their quality is questionable at best. i just want a set that will last a long time and provide a more comfy ride, thanks

I got a set from Pep Boys, not the cheapest. I also added two more in the front on my 70 2wd. The extra hole was already there for the top mount. I made a bracket to clamp on the I beam for the lower mount.

the edelbrock ones are very nice and the rancho 9000 ones are too. I put the rancho rsx shocks on mine, they're stiffer than the 5000 series and I didn't really need to go all out and get the adjustable ones since I don't haul that much. After they've broken in the rsx's ride a lot better. Now I just need to get new tires and replace the worn leaf springs.
