Ranger alignment with 2" coils
My Dad let me pop in some 2" Skyjacker coils on his '94 Ranger. We bought the adjustable camber bushings, too. The alignment shop did the best they could with this mess, and it even though it looks out of whack, it doesn't seem to tear up the 32" BFG's too bad. He's run this for about 3 years now, but the ride is horrible. His birthday is coming up, and I want to fix it. We have Rancho 5000's on the front, so I need some opinions on something softer, maybe 9000's? Also, to fix some of the darting and odd handling of the "tipped out" front end, think I should cut half a coil out of the front, or does someone sell super-mega adjustable camber bushings?
I should note that he likes the look of the 2"-32's, even if he doesn't like the climb. Which means my first thought of a proper 4" lift with drop brackets and 33's is out of the question. Also out of the question is a return to stock. I asked if he'd like that, and he said no thanks.
His B-day is fast approaching............anyone have some ideas??
Thanks!!

how do the tires look out of whack? maybe the frame is bent or maybe one of your axle beams is bent! i have seen this cause mucho problemos and sometimes it is a real btch to track down!
-cutts-
The shop I took it to is/was a shop that the local 4X4 shop took all their stuff to after lift kit installations. My Dad has never crashed or hurt the truck in any way, he's owned it since new. I've heard the 2" coil trick never works great, alignment-wise, because of the limited camber adjustment. Maybe I could find some cheap 4" drop brackets and drill a hole for a 2" drop.........seems like the best solution to the problem, though the most $$$ and most work. I guess that's true of many things in life......
Thanks,
Pete
