Sucessfull Tow without blowoff!!!

WAHOOOOO!! So I just like most others had the boots and clamps for the intercooler hose replaced, however the next time I went to tow yet again it blew off. When I had a chance to go back to the dealer they informed me of a "NEW" intercooler pipe. Well, I finally had a chance to put my PSD back to work. 12700lbs and NO PROBLEMS!! MAN!!! Ya know the best part is passing 7.3s on grade with much less load. Anyone else seem to think the new pipe are made of some sort of resin?? Me thinks that is why they bond to the boot??

Is your's a '03 or '04? I have an '04 with a Sept 03 engine & was wondering if I'm on borrowed time pulling a 11,700 lb 5th.

I have an 03'. Built jan 13 2003. Assembly of jan 03. The 12700lbs didn't really affect it that much.

Best of Luck,
Corey
