Converting gas to alchohol is not possible! Turning lead into gold would be more profitable!
Really though, alchohol is corrosive, and would you would need to have a carburator with parts and seals that are made to be used with this fuel and if you are not using it for racing, I wouldn't bother. You would also have to re-jet because you need about twice as much alchohol as you would gas.

doesn't look like it may be too hard to convert with the carb converter. What other fuels could you use besides high octane gas then to get more power? Thanks for the help witht the catalog, I never even knew that kinda stuff was out there.

how hard would it be to change the engine out to a two stroke dirt bike motor. say like a cr500 motor. keeping the mower deck might get interresting though.

Higher octane won`t do you any good unles you mill the head for higher compression to use that better gas.

That is neat but I would be better off if I would just clean up my garage.

You can't just put a bigger engine on it? But check out garden tiller racing. Yeah, seriously. I've seen some run so fast that the tiller had pulled the person off their feet and was pulling them along behind it! There's a nearby town that has tiller races every year.
