motor mount locations
hello everyone i have a newbie question does anyone know if a 302 block and a 351c have the same motor mount location? i have some weld in mounts i need to put in my 54 f1oo and need to know if i have to take the old ones
out or if i can put the cleveland in with the mounts in their current location

I know my t'78 F-150 was built with 302's and 351M/400's. I took out its original 351M and put in a 351C. I used the original perches, but under the advice of fellow listers used 302 motor mounts on the Cleveland block and everything lined up perfectly with no mods. I'm not sure about any other obstacles, but in theory, you should be fine with your 302 perches and mounts using a Cleveland.
