Bronco 2 NEWBIE

Hey i am 15 yrs old and for my car i am getting a 1983-84 bronco 2 it is a 4 speed manual with a v6 engine and every thing else is stock. when i get this car i want to be able to go off road and have some fun. i dont want to spend a ton of money but i want to have like a lift kit as well as some good tires. Any body with info to help he out please say so. also i want to know what i will need to go off roading an if i will need to get other stuff on it please write me back either on this forum or at my email dovehunter@nc.rr.com
P.S. i want to be able to have about 32 tires Thx

Tell me some good internet sites i could goto to find go parts and stuff.

jamesduff.com is good.

P235/75r15 or a 29 inch tire is a good upgrade to get you started. Do not go bigger tires or harder places off road, where you need big tires, until you have a lot of experience with the smaller tires.

Otherwise 31x10.50x15 is about right without breaking front axle shafts. Learn how to remove the front spindles.

Take a spare TFI module ($30) and spark tester ($5) when going off-road. A cheap $50 electric air compressor to air up your tires would not hurt.

A couple of pieces of 2x10 boards and a hi-lift jack would be a must for most people.
