Most places do that ACarbone. However, each service station that is authorized to do state inspections get a certain number of emissions "credits" that they can give out to failing cars, if they can't fix them to pass and a certain dollar amount as been spent by the customer.
I don't recall how many credits that is, but it's not 50. It's like 5 or 8 or something small like that.

i got a new addition last Thursday for the 79 4X4.
a 351M complete engine minus starter, and plug wires. it is supposed to only have 12,000 miles on it.

he listed it on ebay, and put a link here in the jersey chapter. i had rich move the link to the by trade and sell, then went to look at it and had it delivered.
