I have problems and need some help
I have just put in a (old not rebuilt) 351 in my 79 Bronco. I did a stupid thing and removed the dist. and replaced it with my other (better condition, stock) dist. No big deal right? Wrong, I got the timming off. While I was tring to start the Bronco I shot flames through the carb. I have since fixed the timming and it starts fine, but, now there is a high pitch whine coming from the carb. I thought it was just loose. But I was wrong. Do I need to rebuild the dang carb (again). Should I ditch the egr stack? It ran fine in the donner Bronco. I'm stummped please help. I forgot to mentoion the it is a stock 2v set up

Idle is a little rough. But other wise it is OK. Needs tuninng and tweaking. But I might replace the carb with the one that came on the engine, Just to see if the problem is the carb. If it is I think I'll need to start rebuilding it again. Been a little wet up here lately so i will do it later this week.

I have check a few things on the Bronco last night. I had a few leaks. Plugged them. Did a little tweaking to the carb, runs pretty good now. The whine is still there, but it is very faint. Thanks for the help.
