I know you are all probally sick of hearing about my tranny stories but this one is my new outlook on my tranny.Well I made to B.C. from Que. Canada with a full load of my possesions, heavier than I thought.I did sweat it out in the mountains Roger's pass, smoke show,Kamloops, thought I blew it,major smoke show and a bad seal leak.It came close to use the miracle liquid patch in a bottle but looked at my wife after sitting on highway 5 for an hour and said one more shot, stopped leaking.Admit I did take it easier nursed it all the way but now I'm hear.In ending I just want to say that stupid seal proved to me that was a miracle because it don't leak

I bet it is liquid glass... sodium silicate.... i used to use it for radiators,,,, I am sure it has brake fluid in it to swell the seals... probably over filled it and was running out the back going up hill. started going downhill and fluid rushed forward. I bet the rear bushings are toast, and the seal is gone...
"Miracle patch in a Bottle" What's in it saw dust. LOL
I guess I wasn't clear about the miracle patch, what I wanted to say was liquid tranny sealer.I guess I felt I needed a miracle and the only thing I had was that bottle, thank God I didn't have to use it,but would of as a patch for a bad situation.I am still amazed the seal didn't let go yet,not that I want it to,LOL Anyways thanks for keeping in touch.

Hi Mojo here now you got me wondering about the overfilling, question, what bushings,as for the seal up to date looks good, not leaking.Believe me I'm crossing my fingers, can't afford a major repair.

Hey it might not be your front or rear seals. My van did that and I found out that the oil pan seal was the culprit. These damn cork seals aren't worth spit.
