Cummins engine in a Ford?

I heared antoher FTEr say on here that you could get a Ford HD truck with a Cummins 5.9L in it. Is this true? What series of truck can you get it in? The commerical Fords or the F-350's? I seached the Ford website throughly and did not see anything about a Cummins engine available in a Ford. Could somone clarify this confusing situatuion for me, please?

The purpose of this forum is to make intelligent comparisons of other makes against Ford. They don't have to be in favor of Ford but they must be reasonable in any matter or direction.

Somewhere on here there is a post or 10 about folks putting Cummins into Fords....Engine swap maybe? Try the search function.

The Ford 650 and 750 trucks can be ordered with a 6.0 PSD, a 5.9 Cummins, or a 7.2 Cat. This is what the other member was probably talking about.

You can get a 5.9 Cummins in the F-650 and F-750 Fords.
You can also get them in F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550's in most foreign countries.
