Will a 4.9 Fit?

I am going to be buying a bronco and i am looking at my options for what to do. It will be a trail rig not a DD but it must be street legal. I was thinking of what engine would give me get low end and the first one that popped into my head what the 300 Inline 6. Will this engine fit in a B2? I have not bought a B2 yet will be going to an auction to pick one up so i don't know if it will be auto or manual. if its auto will a AODE from a F150 fit also will a m50d or a ZF 5spd fit? Thanks for your help.

Will a 4.9 Fit?

Im not sure a 4.9L will fit without doing major work its a longer engine then a 302 V8 so id stick with doing a V8 conversion or maybe a 4L 6 banger ???

Will a 4.9 Fit?

the 3o2 would be easier id say. i considerd this for myne so if its auto have fun. you already know its nowhere near strong enough. for 5spd you can actually get a bellhousing to use it. id swap the clutch of course. this may be what i do with myne if i cant sell it. my 2.9 is about to bite the dust and i cant get anyone to buy it lol.
