Well i have been searching for something to clean the white lettering up on my tires and have just about tried everything til tonight!! I tried shoe polish, a white lettering pen,you name it i tried it. I finally broke down and bought some Westleys Bletch-wite and man am i impressed!! Cleaned them like they was brand new!! Got all my scuff marks off the white lettering and including the rest of the tire!! Glad i bought it now instead of wastin my time with other stuff!!
I would recommend it for anyone wanting to clean up your white lettering on your tires!! I give it 4 out of 5 tires for a score!!
I have alwyas wondered about that stuff. Guess I will go out and get some. I get tired of scrubing the letters one at a time with a brush and not really being able to tell a defferance.
I usually use castrol superclean on m y white letters, let set for a couple minutes and hit with a stiff bristled brush one time over (don't take much at all) and then rinse.
Thanks for the info on the bleach white though, I may have to try that.
that stuff does work REAL Well. just keep it off wheels if I remember correctly.
I personally use Simple Green top whiten mine (whenever I actually DO clean Slider). Just liberally spray it on the letters, and then I use a stiff bristled brish and start scrubbin. The good thing about simple green, is any of the excess that runs on the tires or wheels, you can use to clean them too
