Transmissions

I have a 1990 fullsize bronco 4wd with a 1979 400/c3 trans I would like to put a aod trans or a manual 4 or 5 speed and would like to know what transmissions would fit.

Regarding putting a AOD with a 400, see this current thread ragarding the requirement of an adapter.E4OD/AOD thread

Also, you probably and a C6 tranny in there now.

are you sure about this motor and tranny you say is in there because this never was a stock setup. it must be carbed then huh?
