01 Expy Torque Converter or PCM?
My 01 4.6l Expedition trans has started to shudder between 40 and 50 mph.
Sometimes it feels like it slips or stalls when I take off normal. If I take off with about half or full throttle you can't feel it. I have changed the Fuel filter, Trans Filter and fluid, Added Lucus tranmission fix to it and dismantled the throttle body. Found the EGR Ports on the throttle body one plugged up and the other half plugged up. Cleaned and re-installed the IAC Valve it didn't look to bad. Check the comp to see if I had any mis-fires, NONE. Should I have the trans completely flushed? I only changed the filter and fluid, did not empty the torque converter. Should I completely empty the trans and convert and try it? Or maybe the PCM is acting up!!! Kinda lost. I really don't want to take it to the stealership unless all else fails. Or just drive it till is quits, then I would know what is wrong! Any help would be appreciated.
