The official answer is, nobody knows. My guess is, even the people at Ford don't know what they are going to do two weeks from now If history is any indicator, I would not look for any rebate. The 05 brings new things to the table, a new look and updated gas engines among other things. There is the "gotta have it" crowd wanting something new. There are most certainly material holds that are going to happen. And there are many people with ordered trucks that have yet to be delivered. My personal thought is, there is probably not enough surplus to justify it yet.

I've been wrong before. I guess you will have to see what other manufacturers do come Oct. 1. That doesn't mean Ford will follow, but it has happened. They are also not above ammending rebates. So say there is nothing on Oct. 1, there might be on Oct. 7

Of course a rebate is coming -- everyone's doing it. I'm not like the majority here, fawning over the "new" superduty. Bull. A few nice features, yes, but a much better job by the Ford marketing department than anything else. It will be marketed down 4 months from now big time. Save your money and wait....

If I ordered a new truck, do I get the rebate available at the time of order or at the time of delivery?
