VIN and Build Date

Once you have the VIN and Build date from the dealer, how can you track your new truck online? Is this possible or just for the dealer?

As far as I know, there is no way for the consumer to track his or her truck's progress. Most of the time, it is difficult for the dealer to track it--at least it is in MY Ford Region. However, I don't presume to know everything, so I hope that somebody can give you some further information.

You can't check it online - the dealer might be able to do that -but you can check it via the VOPC line.
