looking for a stronger engine cradle...
Hey, I have an 83 F-150 with a 460 in it, the cradle is cracked in many places from stress. it's also the original. does anyone know of a company that has a stronger replacement cradle that will work????

Since the 1983 F-150 did not come from the factory with a 460 I must assume that somebody else put it there. If the reference you make to cradle is the steel engine mounts connected to the frame, they are likely the wrong ones if they are cracked. You need the steel frame mounts for a 460 engine which only came from the factory in the F-250 and F-350 models. You need to visit a salvage yard or eBay and get the correct steel frame mounts. The isolators, or rubber mounts are available at any big chain auto parts store.
