Wont shift
heres the deal:
dad and bro went ot austin to pick up some stuff. bout half way thru the trip, truck wont shift out of park (unless you turn car on, shift into neutral, start engine and quickly shift to drive)
i have no break lights
abs break light blinks (15 blinks with a long blink on the 16th blink)
did a quick search on the forums, results showed might be the tumbler.
ive had previous tumbler issues int he past few months (trouble puttin key into ignition)
i have a '94 f150 automatic transmission
whats the fix, whats the possible cost, do it yourself or take it in?

Your brake light switch , which also doubles as your NEUTRAL SAFETY switch ( means your foot must be on the brake to engage a gear), is in need of replacing. If you have cruise control on the vehicle it may also be affected.
