Hi
I did the same thing,,I took the cab off a 78 f150 4x4 and put it on a 77 f 250 4x4. The onley thing I found was the rear mounts behind the seat did not line up I had to drill new ones.every thing else went together nice.The onley other thing is where is your gastank the 74 should be behind the seat ant the other in the back under the truck.

Gentlemen, I thank you for the quick response. I too am wondering about rear cab mounts and where to put the gas tank. This beast has a dump body on it so I'm guessing the tank will go behind the seat. And I stand corrected; Rectangular headlights.
