Head Light ghost
Hi All:
Had a weird problem the other night, went to start my truck a 97 PSD as we had a bit of battery trouble the day before . Got the truck started but was a chore as the batteries seemed low gauge read low voltage put the ebrake on to disengauge day time running lights and the headlights came on but not the cab lights or marker lights.Checked to headlight switch thought maybe it wall pulled out part way ,nope turn lights on and off nothing lights stayed on took off ebrake but it back on nothing
Shut the truck off the lights went out, have tried it again not doing it now. Only new thing that was done before this happened was we replaced 2 glow Plugs on the left bank then for some reason the batteries were dead charged them up and it seemed fine, Any Idea's

How old are the batteries? It sounds like one or both are starting to fail. Check the cables for a clean tight connection. If the connection is OK, you might want to charge the batteries up and have a load test done. Make sure they disconnect the cables before testing. Testing with both batteries hooked up will give a false reading.
