305 70's fit no problem
For all interested. I have a 2003 F250 SC 4X4 5.4 auto 3.73's with I assume the regular spring package. It came with 235.85.16's. I put Michelin 285.75.16's on it and sold them shortly thereafter (too much of a highway tread design). I just installed 305.70.16's (Wildcat All Terrains) on 99 model Aluminum rims. They fit perfectly and have zero rub. I had a 99V10 same setup (cab, 4X4) and it also had 305's with zero rub. They look awesome compared to the 285's. Nice and wide. I put 20,000 miles on the V10 and the tire wear was perfect. So, for those on the fence between 285's and 305's, I will never go back to 285's. Power is identical to the 285's as they are the same height (32.8). Hope this helps.

In my gallery I have pictures on my truck with 305's installed. MT Baha claws. I'll have to go look myself and see if the pictures with stock rims and 285/75-16 is still there. But Stock height and every thing fits fine.
