3.0L MPG
Well, since we've handled the AWD and 4.0L 2WD MPG, I wonder about the fuel economy of other 3.0L Aerostars.
City driving gives me 18mpg, on the hwy going constantly 80-85mph, she makes 20mpg. The van is a '93 extended model with 75K on the clock.

3.0L MPG
Hum. Have had my 88 3.0L Aerostar since Nov of 1987 but don't ever recall checking mpg. Maybe I should. With the smallish 17 gal tank, fueling stops seem more frequent then I'd like. Guess that's why later Aerostars have 21 gal tanks.

3.0L MPG
My 94 averages 18 to 19 in town, 21 to 24 on the highway. It has 124.000 on it now and the mileage has remained the same ever since I bought it. (Oct 31,1995) Well I take that back I got that mileage after switching to synthetic oil and Bosch Platinum plugs.
