I'll give it a try until you test the search option....

ANYTHING is better than stock
the catback will give you about 75% of the benefits of the turbo back...
(as far as performance increase and exhaust gas flow)
the turbo back with a 3.5 downpipe will not give you any clearance problems...
the 4" dp has made most have to bend the firewall seam so it won't contact it...

I have the 3.5 " to 4" turbo back WITH the cat...

the performance with and without the cat has been shown to no measureable difference by some dyno and time slip testing...
the lead pipes on the cat can be trimmed such that the opening going into and out of the cat match up with the 4" exhaust and flows well...

the only difference you may see is a softening of the F-15 turbo whistle with the cat ...

most kits come with a good, low restriction, flow thru 4" muffler ...
given that you are one of those northerners - I'd suggest stainless since you have to contend with road salts in the winter...

check out this site - good guys - good prices -
call them for unadvertised specials or kits with other things you NEED !

I decided to go with a cat-back system to keep FMC off my back.
I have good turbo whistle, and the inside of the cab is quite.
Anything other than stock is a big improvement.

I went with the Hog cat-back from moterhaven. Love the exhaust and it sounds great!

went anothers (not from motor heaven) 4 inch all the way turbo back. and didn't have to bend the fire wall. the 4 inch down pipe was easier getting in than the stock was comming out.replaced the cat with 4 inch piece of pipe. sounds quiter than stock till i open it up. and yes the turbo is a little louder.but i like it
