I am an owner of a 91 Aerostar short one 2 whell drive and have had problems whith right front outer wheel bearings goeing bad. I think I will have to replace the brake roter and Spindle assy any other suggestions. Also would it be too diffucult in swapping my 3.0 ltr for a 4.0 ltr. the eng has 160,000 on it and getting tired. Thanks Kevin
If the hub is damaged where the bearing(s) outer shells press in, it will have to be replace also. Hopefully not though.
Often the spindle can be cleaned up and the damaged area touched up with emery paper if not too bad. The bearing inner races are slip fit.
