My 94 F150 /351 has some electrical problems. When I'm driving with the wipers on all of a sudden my wipers will not work. So I bang on the fuses and sometimes it the wipers will start working, sometimes not. Also sometimes when I start the truck it will not shift properly. Same thing Ill bang on the fuse and some times it works sometimes it doesnt. Another problem I have is the air bag light constantly blinks and I have no horn or cruise( I heard it could be my clockspring, is this related to my other electrical problems.) Any help would be appreciated seeing where I live we have allready had snow on the ground for 4 days. Thanx. YMB9
I also had similar problems in my 94 with the wipers. I usually just wriggled the wiper switch arm around and could get them going again for awhile.
The wiper arm switch assembly is the usual problem and it has to be replaced.
It sounds like most of the things going wrong could be related to wiring harness connections in your steering column.
I also get a lot of engine static in my radio, and can clear that up slamming my fist down on the top of the dash. Not very techincal, but it works.
