Ok, lets see if anyone can help me out with my problem. I have a 1980, Ford F-100 step design truck, with a 302fuel injected enjine, but it is being converted to carbureted. One, is this possible, and if so, is it difficult for this style of truck? I need to know, because I am getting mixed answers from friends and family, some saying that its only a quick job, others saying that it will take extremely long, costing probably over $1000.....
So, what should I do? Anyone have any opinions??

Reason: Clarification
fuel psi regulator to drop the fuel psi to 6-7 or replace existing efi pump with one designed for a carb and operates at 6-7 psi. $50-80 for the regulator or $50 for the electric carb fuel pump.
distributor/moduel/coil - duraspark distributor/ modules/ and coils are inexpensive around a $100-120 total for new and reman parts at your local autoparts store.
Throttle linkage from a carb truck - last time I checked around $30 new at the local auto parts store ... junkyard $$$ ?
Does it currently have an electronically controlled tranny? If so then you will need a stand alone unit that will allow it to operate correctly.
Suppose it really depends on how resourceful you are in finding used or like new parts at a decent price.
