Aerostar 4.0L automatic: same as Explorer?
I'd like to once-and-for-all fix the automatic transmission on my 1991 Aerostar - by replacing it, and its transfer case, with transmission/transfer case from an Explorer. Does anyone know how different the transmission mount points and cross-bars are? I can fab -anything- but, I'd rather try something easy, first...
