Buy them. Very reasonable price, fast delivery and fit well. I never realized how much I needed these mirrors before. Like Johnboy60 says, they are now the most used mirrors on the truck. They are especially useful when backing up next to my house, I can see if my home overhang gets close to the trailer and not mess up my trailer. While unhooked, it helps me back into parking spaces because I can see the white lines painted on the asphalt. Best $30 bucks you'll spend on your truck. (I think that is what I paid....)
I agree with the other two posts, they are great mirrors. I put mine on in the dealer lot (Van Bortel Ford, Victor NY) before driving off. I tow alot and have towed for many years the Q-werks C-Betr mirrors just make the great Ford mirrors fantastic. Great mirrors and the company is great to work with. Buy em!
Yep, they work just fine, except when a bug hits them, it splatters off onto the windows. Had them on my '02 and now the '04--really wouldn't want to tow without them.
I can't use them (old truck and all - they don't make this particular design for mine) but count me as another vote for spot mirrors. I have driven trucks for 12 or so of the last thirty years and would not be without spot mirrors on anything I drive. Lovely Wife will not allow me to put a set on her 96 Bonneville though.
They are a very useful addition to any vehicle, whether you tow or not.

My '84 has the "swing out/flip over" trailer towing mirrors and, like Dave, I don't like to travel without blind-spot mirrors. Since the mirrors I had didn't easily adapt to the stick-on or clamp-on type I purchased some of the old style mirrors that mount on the top or front of the door edge ...
The ones I used are the 4" curved. I clamped them on the top of the door and added a spot/convex mirror over the flat glass. Always in place, easily adjustable and they add a bit of a big-rig custom look ...
Not yet, but I'm working on it. Just had a little cosmetic work done ... little rust spots in the usual areas ... and now that it's looking great I've got to take some shots.
I like the look of those mirrors - I am going to get some. I use that type of mirror on everything (I even stick small ones onto the vehicles I rent..)
We just returned from our first 8 hr. highway trip, pulling a trailer, since installing these mirrors. My husband, who normally resists gadgets and aides, initially said he didn't need these on his truck , he could see just fine. Since my new truck still hadn't arrived, I suggested he just try them and give me an informed opinion. I had to smile when he came "down off his mule" and admitted he really liked them and felt they had definitely aided his driving this week....I've ordered a second set.
