94 squeak going nuts
My 94 3.0 has a squeak I just can't pin point. Replaced both belts already. Sounds like it is external to the engine.The power steering belt tensioner wheel has a wear or slight groove in it but dosn't seem to be the culprit. I can't really check the lower not accesable. I'm loosing my mind with the Chirp Chirp sound. After it heats up the noise kinda goes away. Water pump Ok. altenator ok. Then out of nowhere Chirp Chirp. Any ideas I would greatly be thankful. Bye the way, Just found this site trying to decode the infamous 3-2 air bag light code, no horn, no powersteering. BINGO clock spring will be in monday. What a treat to find this place. Thanks.

Had the same problem with my 87 3.0. I sprayed the belt tensioner pully center shaft with WD40 and it went away. Replaced the pully assembly for a permanent fix, I think it was $26.00 at the dealer's parts counter.
