Have a 70 429 Super Cobra Jet block. 4 bolt center main caps if I remember right. But you dont need this kind of block for a street machine..or even a fairly strong competition engine..keep the rpms reasonable and the standard block 429/460 works fine.. I have heard there might be some minor clearance differences over the years,so try to get one engine if possible..maybe someone can shed some light on this part of the subject that knows more than me..

Engine was bored .30, a ford racing 514 stroker kit was added, heades are ported and polished, Lunati roller cam,Lunati hydrolic roller lifters, and roller rockers from Comp Cams.
