Frame mounted boosters

Anyone know much about big truck frame mounted brake boosters? How they are sized, what types there are? I've got the old style leather seal type on my '54 F750, and was thinking of maybe moving up to the newer rubber diaphragm type and was wondering the differences between them and how to size accordingly...

Boosters

According to the 60 truck shop manual, 81/8" midland boosters were used on the F600,Bendix hydrovac(diaphragm)101/4" on the F700 and 750 and bendix piston boosters (91'2")on the 700 and 750
