bad driveshaft...maybe
I have a 90 BII 4x4 and when im accelerating it will click a lot. and the harder i hit the gas, or even jerk my foot after going through ruts or something the worse it clicks. I think that this is the rear driveshaft but figured I'd ask you'll before I get a new one. and if it is Im goning to go to a local machine shop and get them to build me one with U-joints instead of getting another one of the crap stock shafts

lay under the truck, grab the drive shaft and pull on it checking for looseness..any play in it means bad joints. twist it back and forth and look for play in it. The old style CV style shafts were junk to begin with and not really meant for any kind of offroading.
