Pretty soon my 97 Explorer will be in need of new shocks, do you guys think it would be smart to purchase the explorer express handling package? The “Standard Handling Package” $578 includes larger front/ rear sway bars and front/ rear edelbrock shocks. Worth the money or stick to just new shocks?
Thanks,
Joe

The Edelbrocks are decent shocks. Are you riding at stock height or lowered? If you are at stock height, I think the Monroe Sensatracs from Sears do just as well (if not better), and cost half the price.
I would definitely suggest getting the EE sway bars. Makes your X feel so much better...
I second Cobra's opinion. EE sway bars are a must have. I have the rear one on mine, and it made a world of difference in handling. (I already had the solid bar in front.)
Check the price difference on the kit versus the individual parts. That sounds like a reasonable deal for 2 bars and 4 Edlebrocks.
