It would seem that after a while the guy would think of inspecting and upgrading the shackles before he headed out???? I have seen enough of that stuff busted that I wouldnt head half way across a continnent without making sure the factory work was going to make it. Thats a sore spot in a lot of trailers and I would be adding stiffner plates and greasable shackle bolts at minimum.

Well put me down as impressed. I'd sure love to see this in action in person. I've read about it in the magazines but have not seen anyone do it yet.

I saw that portrayed in an episode of "McGuyver", but instead if a welding rod, he used a nickle
