head unit selection (stereo)
Is there a head unit out there that will replace my audiopile, that could be wired to acdept the steering wheel controls and the factory DVD player? I replaced the door speakers with infinitys, and added a powered kenwood sub. The front doors sound good, the rears like doo-doo. If you are in the back it sounds all bassy/ no highs. I was about to use a 5 channel amp, and replace the sub. But after reading all the posts it seems no matter what oem decks are crapp. Sorry about the ramble and what not. Some help please.

Here is a link that goes over some work arounds for the factory dvd, as for the SW controls they will be lost.. This is for an 04 I'm not sure what year you have or if they will be the same or not.
