well first this a 1980 f 100 with 4 speed it was making noise thought it was lifters or something else well the starter went out changed that and the truck really got loud until
i hit the clutch pulled the starter out and found metal it look like washers?
well I figure preesure plate going to get it all new then they asked what size is there a differance they say hevy duty?I will be going on the highway alot so maybe you guys can help me again? blumpy
It's most likely a 10" - some of the flywheels are drilled for both the 10" & 11" clutch - you'll have to look to make sure - you want to get your flywheel turned anyway; so, it will be apart for a while.
That deal on ebay is a good deal... but... it doesn't come with a throwout bearing or alignment tool, so you'll have to find those, at least if you don't already have an alignment tool...
and, more importantly, it's a late-model, diaphragm clutch, designed for a hydraulic linkage. In my case, I had to make a longer clutch pushrod out of threaded rod to adjust it properly. So, just watch out for that stuff.
