Aerostar Trans Pan ?

Hello fellow Aerostar owners/enthuiasts! Just wondering, do you know of any aftermarket manufactuer that makes a replacement transmission pan for the factory 4-speed auto transmission used in the Aerostar? I am mainly interested in a stock-type pan with a drain plug that would make ATF fluid changes much easier. Looked in the current Ford Motorsport catalog, and only saw pans for c-6's, 5.0L Mustangs, etc. Any info, or thoughts on this matter would be appreciated. Thank You.

I havn't found an aftermarket A/T pan with a drain plug, but you can add a drain with plug to the factory pan. Both Parts America and a couple of other auto parts chains carry these after market plugs for trans pans in the "Help" parts section for small replacement parts and tools. Ask the counter help if you can't find these plugs. You basically drill a hole in the pan and use the kit with gaskets that come with it. Works slick and I think sells for less then $10 if memory serves. Makes A/T fluid draining much easier when changing the trans filter.
