Idiot drivers!!!!!

Just have to release a little, comes to mind where's the cops when you need them . On my home this afternoon, I was slowing down for a car one car up slowing to turn left at the bottom of a big railroad overpass. Next thing I know there is a black Ford extended cab F150 with dark tint windows and Illinois plates blowing past the 2 of us remaining on the highway, the car turning had just cleared the rod, and the solid line is there, as no visibilty for oncoming traffic, as the line of sight is at max 400 foot. Had someone popped that manmade hill, it would have guaranteed a nasty wreck, and I was hauling two young children that I would have to attend to in a case like that. What is so pressing that they can't wait that few seconds for us to speed back up and get safely over the hill? Sure, it didn't go that way, but that road is busy enough and there is absolutely no way that he could have seen down the road to be sure it was safe to pass way illegally. Idiots!!!

I feel your pain. Sometimes I think that driving is playing a random game of hoping you will not be in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Im not sure I see what your saying. But its a shame it had to be a Ford truck driver. Thats usually what japaneese, sorry "import" car drivers do.

Basically, they passed me uphill when you can't see the oncoming traffic, and it was a no passing zone, high traffic area and the driver turning left was barely clear for them to pass. Had they passed a few seconds earlier, they would have hit the turning driver in the side. I was behind another car going straight, who had slowed wiating for the lead car to turn left from a 2 lane road, and we were passed on the left. Very unsafe and illegal pass.

Oh oh oh oh I see. Yea that IS pretty stupid! Thats one of thoes cases where you kinda wish he clipped a fender of you or the other guy and had to end up literally paying $$$ for his stupid mistake. You know, one of thoes minor wrecks where nobody gets hurt at all and someone pays for being an idiot.

I'd love to be in a yuppie part of town and have some H2 or high dollar SUV just do something stupid and implant their grille into the side of my truck. I never have that kinda luck though. My luck would be some non-documented mexican in a 1989 Corsica with no insurance plow into me. I had two incodents with my truck so far. One was my dad and the other was a good friend of mine. Now how do you benefit from that!?!... just my luck.

Untrue! Driving stupidity is a universal, equal opportunity affliction shared by too many.... regardless of what they drive.

It's like yesterday when I saw a lady at a red light. He car just broke down and she was trying to get it restarted. The light turned green and a lady in a early 80's Chevy pickup started honking her horn. This other lady was still trying to start her car but it wouldn't start. The light turns red. Then it goes back to green and the other lady starts honking her horn AGAIN! Finally she drives around her and yells and swears and flips the bird! Come on! Why do people have to be like that!?!?!

I'm in the Kahoka area. This little incident happened just west of Kahoka, at the Medill overpass.

Impatience is the plague that embodies these folks- most of us get it from time to time, and then again some us have it all the time...the trick is learning to deal with it!

136 west of town, right at the curve to go over the railroad. 81 is another one with no lack of idiots and plenty of blind corners. The overpass you likely are thinking about is a narrow thing, but there is a cop that lives just up the hill from there.
