swapping 300 t0 351w?
Hi guys.......I have an 83 f150 w/300-6, and an AOD tranny.....just changed oil the other day, and found the dreaded metal shavings....didnt suprise me too much, motor had nearly 400,000 mi on it lol.....anyway, i am planning on switching to a 351w, and was wondering what am i looking at as far as installation. Will my tranny match up (AOD tranny), wiring, radiator, ignition? and is the 351 a mistake.....any info would help greatly.....kinda nervous about all of this....300 was VERY reliable, but im looking for power now....help me out plz...THANX

i have a 82 f-100 it had the 300 6 cyl. , we changed it to a 351-w 
.the only real problem i ran into was the frame mounts . they will have to be changed, they are to small and the oil pan will hit the frame. i went to the junk yard and found a set out of a truck that had a v-8.
