Marine High Torque Starter????

does anyone know where i can find a high torque marine starter for my 460. i don't have alot of money to spend, but show me all the links you have. thankx a million.

I see them on Ebay all the time, from $80 to $150... depending on how mini and how hi-torque you want to get..

Summit Racing sells them too, $159 (222 ftlbs), or $299 for the extra hi-torque (342 ftlbs).

www.cpperformance.com also sells them. I'd encourage you to go to your local guy that does automotive electronics. I had to buy a marine counter rotating high torque starter a few months ago and he had a killer price on a good unit. I'm a total chicken **** when it comes to Egay, so that option is always out for me. I don't trust Egay at all, but that's just me. If I did have any probelms with it, I would only have to take it back to him and he'd send it back and order me another one, try that on Ebay. Try your local guy first, if that doesn't work out, then try online, I always try to work with the "little local guys" first, you CAN get some really damn good service and sometimes even save some money. Not always the case, but it does happen, cant hurt to check it out.
