FLow tech Afterburner

I posted this in the 300 i6 forum and have gooten no results yet. I have been looking at ordering a flowmaster but started looking at Flowtech Afterburner (less cost). Has any one used one of these, specifically on a 300 i6. Just curious of how it would sound. Heard some sound bites with a v8. They sound good to me, but I know the 300 has a sound of its own. I am not looking for a ricer sound.

You will pretty much have the ricer sound no matter what, have you checked out the flowtech terminator? I have yet to hear either in person but the terminator is built alot better.

The Afterburner is a tough, all welded muffler. I used them on a 86 with a 302, and it sounded great. A little loud, but with good tone. They were on that truck for a few years before I sold it, and they were exactly the same a s when I first installed them. Not sure how they would sound on a 300, but I would buy them again for a V-8.

IMO there just average. I hade a set of flows on my 302 stang and that was nice aggresive deep sound. Then last week i put a pair of afterburners on a buddy of mines 305 and they just dont compare, way quieter and really not that deep.
