89 E150 302 bucking bronco!
All of a sudden it has started bucking. Add a little fuel and we start jerking. I replaced the fuel filter and have run it from both tanks, no change. All spark plugs (Except the two front ones on the passenger side, which I can't seem to reach) are firing. Am planning to take it in, Monday, would like some idea of what I am in for. I'll tell you, I sure miss carburetors. I am just to old for the EFI engines. Any help will be appreciated, especially if I can fix this myself. Earle

About the best bet wth efi is to pull the codes yourself or take the van to autozone and let them pull the codes for you (free). That would give you a good place to start...I am with you...seems with these efi engines one problem can be attributed to many sources....with a carb you can narrow it down pretty quick. Good luck

Thanks, I did not know that Autozone was set up to read your code. However I have already taken it in, we are in a zone threatened by Hurricane Avan. The shop told me they know the cyl, but don't know it if it is the injector, or something else. Thanks again, I will remember that about Autozone, because chances are that I could change out an injector. Earle
