Sensor for the oil pressure light...
I've just had my 302 engine rebuilt for my 88 150. I've been going through and replacing all the sensors and switches because they're real easy to get to right now. Anyhow, I've been having a bit of trouble finding a certain sensor/switch. I believe it controls the light on the dash for low oil pressure. I've already replaced the sending unit by the oil filter, the sensor/switch I'm looking for is located on top of the block all the way in the back close to the passenger side cylinder head. It screws in from the top and I believe it had two wires going to it. I'd just reuse the old one, but it broke (little bitty pieces) in transit to the engine shop. Any ideas on what to ask for and where?
