99 tranny issues
My 99 3.0L 76,000 is shifting slightly hard when starting to move and 1-2, the idle is around 1200 in idle. The egr is tripping a code(low flow) aswell which may or may not be related. Any thoughts.

A low flow cose can be caused by a clogged EGR port. when you remove the egr valve,under it is a finger sized hole in the intake.At the BOTTOM of this hole is a SMALL port that can be poked out with a stiff peice of wire. then unhook the negative battery cable for five minutes to clear the code.
