You gentlemen appear to welcome newcomers, even those who haven't quite purchased an Excursion (do drive a Ford product - a Lincoln Continental, as my "Daily Driver", however). Am currently negotiating with 3 dealers on ordering an '05 Ex Limited 4x4 w. 6.0 to replace a 2000 Dodge 2500 extended cab w. V10. Need a little more power and better mileage when I pull a closed car trailer, and especially space for our 8 year old, 2 dogs, and friends along the way. This site has been very beneficial during my decision process - thanks for letting me "eavesdrop" on the "party line" (I'm actually pushing 60, so I know what a "party line" is!). Used the "handle" 23pierce, as I have 2 Pierce-Arrows; the 1923 Roadster being on display this summer in the Pierce-Arrow exhibit at the Gilmore Museum at Hickory Corners, MI. Have it displayed "just for fun" with a Model "T" Ford Roadster, to show what $6,000 and $350 would buy back in 1923. I run the Center for Research in Security Prices at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business when I'm not getting greasy on the weekend.
