i'm looking to replace my existing battery before winter gets here for certain. anyone know how many cold cranking amps i need? what does ford recommend? can i get a stronger one without hurting anything? 91 4.0 ext ..thanks rick

When I bought my Aerostar in N.H. 4 years ago, it had a near dead battery. I bought a Champion and I think it had 925 cold cranking amps. Worked pretty well through several cold winters.
