your thoughts before i buy
Well, since i have my PSD, look slike i may buy a second truck too and want your thoughts on it.
It an 88' 4x4 F350 dully aluminum wheels with a blown engine(changed head and piston blew) and a 5 speed tranny. I'm going look at it ina few minutes....my bud says the body and inside are in great shape. The guy says it was appraised at 1000(his son passed away and it was his), if i like it i may offer 800.....future plans are to drop a powerstroke in it. What do you guys think....should i do it, or is it not worth it?

I'd do it. 800 is a great price IF the running gear is in good shape. The 4x4 350's in that year had solid front axles, that (IMO) is worth it. The 5spd should be a ZF, another plus. Was it a Diesel before???? SOunds ok in my book!
