1973 Explorer, bright lime, code 4

I got this pickup from a good friend, his father who was the 2nd owner died and his son could not keep it. Anyone else on this forum have a pickup this color? I searched all over Yahoo and could not find any pics of this color. I'm now changing it over to an automatic/390 setup with all new or rebuilt parts, I think that it will look sharp.

Sounds like a cool truck. You should post some pictures in your gallery so we can see what it looks like.

Posted just 1 so far, I have the front clip off to strip/repaint the firewall in the original color and to por-15 the frame.

1976 I'm thinking of painting it dark forest green/Wimbledon white, the cloth interior is pretty dark. I haven't decided yet.

I once had an explorer that was that lime color, with white stripes. light green interior.
