Shop / Service Manual
Anyone knows where I can buy? URL?
>purchased several, all less than $25 and in excellent
>conditon. Go to Ebay.com and type aerostar in the search box

Would you be so kind as to look up the location of 4.0L block drain plug? I'm trying to drain the fluid without cutting a hose.
The last two '89 manual sets there went for $66 and $46. I know, because I bid on the first set, and actually won the second:

1989 seems to be a popular year. Other years of Aerostar manuals don't sell for quite as much.
The price I paid + shipping is OK for a two-manual factory set, but not stellar, though I've paid over $100 for factory manuals in the past.
It hasn't arrived yet (it will get here in the next two or three days), and it won't cover the 4.0l engine, of course, because the 4.0l wasn't offered in '89, so no, I won't look up the block drain location for you

There are only about ten decent sources for automotive manuals in the US.

I just went through that on my 93 4.0. I have rear air and heat and there is no block drain. They used the block port to rout the rear heater through. you just have to keep cycling through the radiator.
