New to this site, but I like it very much already. I just purchased my new '04 SD CC 4x4 F250 LB, with, of course, the Powerstroke 6.0L (I have all of 203 miles on it now!) I'll post a digital of the truck tomorrow, once I figure out how to do that....
I previously have owned several 4x4s, of all brands, but I always wanted one of these...It was critically important to me to get an '04, so it would still have a leaf spring front end set-up...lift kit, big tires, and such! I just traded in my 2001 """Dodge""" with the CTD, and in reality, it was a very good truck. It just did not offer many of the finer features that I see on these Fords...
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello. I've got a lot of reading to do now to catch up on past posted info!
Thanks for the welcome...I've got very tired eyes from reading alot of info...most very good, and of course, some things that concern me.
This purchase was my dream truck...one that did not have to be "pieced together" part at a time...like all my others in the past. I am hoping for alot better luck than I had with my '96 F-350 4x4 CC...even though I loved that gas hog of a truck, it would have qualififed for the California lemon law return, as it spent the first 6 months of it's life in and out of the dealer's shop for alot of problems.
I am a true FORD person though, and this new F-250 is our second '04...I bought a 4x4 Expedition for the wife and she loves it so much, she does't want to drive it to her work (afraid of door dings)!
